Two swords in the stone merging past and present to save the world
JMD Reid’s writing is crisp, clean and effective. The author is able to make the story come alive with short, effective descriptions.
I thoroughly enjoyed “Reflections of Eternity”: the writing, the characters, the world and the story.
“Two shall be chosen, separated by time…”
A hero from the past and an acolyte of the present must unite forces to save the future of the world.
This story a romantic fantasy adventure/action in which two characters (one from past and one from present) try to save their world. Through their journey, past and present merge and their bond grows as they are tested every step of the way. They knew they depended on each other and needed to work together if they wanted to succeed, both certain that death awaits them at the end.
The characters were very likeable and their growing connection and blooming romantic relationship was believable. I loved the little twist at the end.
“Reflections of Eternity” had everything I love in a story; great writing, excellent editing, fantasy, a strong female character, action and romance.
I am looking forward to reading more of this author’s work.
